The Paula Dinsmore Daman Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in memory of Paula Dinsmore Daman who graduated from Eastern Arizona College in 1970. She came from Rincon High School in Tucson, through Eastern and onto the U of A to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education. Dyslexia was an obstacle for her but not a barrier. At Eastern she was a cheerleader, student government participant, swam and was on the tennis team. She taught and then raised four children through college. Her mother helped found the Assistance League chapter in Tucson and she followed in her footsteps helping found the chapter in San Luis Obispo, California. We hope this scholarship will continue her legacy of helping youth find hope for a brighter future through education.

"I am writing to thank you for your generous support toward my education. After taking a computer programming class at Eastern Arizona College, I realized that I enjoyed and excelled in that area of Engineering and decided to focus my studies on software engineering... This is a great gift! Hopefully, one day, I will be able to help some struggling students the way that you have helped me."
"Thanks to your generosity I will be able to push myself further and become a helpful member of society in my future career."
